Experimental and numerical investigation of gap K-joints of rectangular hollow section trusses

چکیده
This paper is concerned with investigating of the plastic behaviour on gap K-joints truss girders, made from thin-walled rectangular hollow section members. An experimental study was carried out a full-scale girder under concentrated load two central nodes. A numerical analysis using ABAQUS in order to clearly see this type joint and make comparison experimentation. will it possible examine attentively define analytical model for joint. The results obtained have shown that sections very present different behaviours compared thin or more less thick sections. As result, tested observe failure mode section, follow-up comparative determination capacity by Eurocode 3 CIDECT.
